Here is Chef Naimah’s Christmas 2024 creation for you to enjoy – Frozen Yoghurt Christmas Bark of Joy! Inspired by original recipe from Amy Whiteford

Ingredients

  • 500 g natural creamy Greek yogurt
  • 4 Kiwis, thinly sliced
  • 5-6 strawberries chopped into small pieces
  • handful of pecans, finely crushed
  • handful of blueberries, chopped
  • honey, a few tablespoons or to taste (optional)
  • vanilla essence, one drop (optional)
  • sprinkles (optional)
  • Christmas edible decorations (optional)

Instructions

  1. Thinly slice the kiwis and then cut into Christmas tree shapes or use a tree shaped cookie cutter
  2. Line a rimmed baking tray with baking paper
  3. Mix 500 g yogurt with honey, to taste (we used 2 tablespoons) and then add vanilla essence to taste (we used one drop)
  4. Pour the yogurt into the centre of the tray then use spread out evenly over the whole tray
  5. cut the strawberries and blueberries into small pieces
  6. finely crush the pecans (optional)
  7. Place the kiwi Christmas trees onto the yogurt, evenly spaced.
  8. Add the cut fruit around the trees
  9. add the crushed pecans around the base of each tree (optional)
  10. Add the Christmas baking decorations and sprinkles, to taste (optional)
  11. Freeze everything until completely solid
  12. Cut into sections and serve
  13. Put remaining sections into ziploc or other freezer bags and freeze until needed
